Barry Streit is a highly experienced sales and distribution leader, known for driving innovative strategies and building high-performing teams in Medicare and retail financial services.

Prior to joining Lumeris, Barry spent 13 years in senior leadership at UnitedHealthcare Medicare where he led National Broker Distribution, West Region Field Sales, Direct to Consumer Sales, Field Agent Support, Business Development, and DSNP Retention. During Barry’s tenure, UHC’s Medicare Advantage market share grew from 19% to 28%, extending its lead over the #2 carrier by five percentage points. He is a two-time winner of the UHG Innovation Award.

In addition, Barry held senior roles in the financial services industry including Charles Schwab, BMO Harris, and TD Ameritrade. As new empty-nesters, Barry and his wife Kelly spend way too much time and attention on their Boston Terrier, Fitzy. They also enjoy the excellent food, music, sports, and theater scene in Minneapolis and love traveling to see their kids.
