Jason serves as the Vice President of Risk Adjustment Strategy and Operations at Lumeris. With nearly 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Jason is focused on leading the innovation of products and solutions that streamline the provider experience with accurate and complete documentation and coding.

Prior to joining Lumeris, Jason served as the Regional Vice President of Risk, Quality and Network Solutions at Optum. As part of his division’s leadership team, he leveraged the organization’s unique positioning of technology services, healthcare information, and consulting to drive successful implementation of risk adjustment programs and quality initiatives. Jason was successful in establishing and building new markets for program participation, and worked directly with providers, payers, and healthcare organizations to promote early detection and ongoing assessment of chronic illnesses. Jason also spent time at Pfizer, where he was responsible for driving business growth for cardiovascular and urology product lines through education and relationship building with specialists and administrators.

Jason gained his early clinical experience during his years as a Certified Athletic Trainer where he administered patient care and provided assessment, prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries sustained by athletes. He also assisted in the expansion and development of specialized sports medicine programs and collaborated closely with physicians and the community.

Jason graduated from Ohio State University and still resides in Ohio with his wife and daughter. In his spare time, he is always planning the next adventure for the three of them.
