Today, Lumeris, a pioneer in population health management solutions headquartered in St. Louis, announced that Art Glasgow joined the company as president and chief operating officer (COO). In this position, Glasgow will play a key role in setting Lumeris’ strategy for continued growth as the company accelerates innovation and blazes a trail for the healthcare industry’s transition from volume to value-based care.

Glasgow has more than 20 years of healthcare leadership experience in organizations ranging from
start-up ventures to Fortune 15 companies; spanning the provider, payer and vendor areas. He has held senior executive roles at healthcare leaders such as Optum/UnitedHealth Group, Allscripts and the Duke University Health System.

Glasgow joins a rapidly expanding leadership team at Lumeris where he will lead all sales, marketing, product, technology and operations, representing over 800 professionals. He will report directly to Long, partnering with him to drive operational excellence, strategic prioritization and accountability throughout Lumeris.

Art is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He and his wife currently reside near Charlotte, North Carolina, with their four children.
