John Fryer, MS, FACHE

John Fryer serves as the Chief Growth and Corporate Development Officer at Lumeris, where he leads the organization’s strategic partnerships, market expansion, and the commercialization of Tom™, an AI-enabled Primary Care as a Service (PCaaS) platform. A recognized industry voice on value-based care, AI governance, and primary care transformation, John partners with health systems, payers, and provider groups to execute business model transformations that drive long-term sustainability.

Since joining Lumeris, John has played a pivotal role in scaling managed populations to millions of lives and approximately more than $10 billion in medical spend, driving billions in revenue impact tied to value-based performance. In 2025, he was central in establishing the Collaborative for Healthy Rural America (CHRA), a coalition with Teladoc, Deloitte, and Unite Us designed to support states and provider organizations pursuing CMS’ Rural Health Transformation Program.

Beyond his executive role, John actively shapes the future of healthcare leadership as an Adjunct Professor at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, supporting the Master of Healthcare Administration curriculum. He is a frequent contributor to national forums and has been recognized in the last year as a 40 Under 40 honoree by both Modern Healthcare and Becker’s Healthcare.

John holds a Master of Science in Healthcare Leadership from Brown University and a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a Minor in Entrepreneurship from Wake Forest University. In addition to his work at Lumeris, he is an active angel investor focused on early-stage healthcare companies.
