W. Michael Long

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Mike Long is an accomplished entrepreneur most known for building and leading several of health care's most prominent businesses. He was the Chief Executive Officer and later Chairman of Healtheon/WebMD, taking the now-iconic business from start up to market leader and overseeing its successful initial public offering. The market-leading clearinghouse vendor Emdeon and the world's largest consumer health information company WebMD were born out of that market leadership.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Long led Continuum, a producer of software and computer services for the insurance industry, growing it into a multi-billion dollar global enterprise and later overseeing its acquisition by Computer Sciences Corporation.

Deborah Zimmerman, M.D.

Chief Medical Officer

Debbie Zimmerman has a long and distinguished history of medical leadership at health plans such as CIGNA, Group Health Plan, and Health Partners of the West. Before joining Lumeris, she most recently served as Chief Medical Officer of Mercy Health Plans. She is also an accomplished entrepreneur, having cofounded a successful disease and complex case management firm.

James Starr

Chief Financial Officer

Jim Starr is a seasoned financial executive and certified public accountant with extensive health care experience. He has a strong track record of collaborating to deliver significant value to shareholders in emerging, mid-size, and large companies. Prior to joining Lumeris, Mr. Starr held various positions as a senior financial executive, providing financial, accounting, and operational expertise to growth-oriented enterprises.

Terry Snyder

Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales & Operations

Terry Snyder is an accomplished health care executive, with more than 25 years of experience in health information technology, consulting, medical systems, managed care, government affairs, and pharmaceutical/biotechnology. Prior to joining Lumeris, he served in leadership roles at CareFusion, McKesson Provider Technologies, Ernst & Young, and Schering-Plough. In his current role, Mr. Snyder has global responsibility for Lumeris sales, client management, and operations, including driving business development, key customer partnerships, revenue growth, and enterprise sales and support.

Joel Andersen

Chief Marketing Officer

Joel Andersen is a seasoned executive with noted expertise in health care technology and managed care. He previously served as vice president of marketing and business development at e-MDs, a national EMR and practice management software vendor. He has also held a variety of management positions with several health care technology companies, including Trizetto, VantageMed, and Mariner Systems.

Richard Jones

Executive Vice President

Richard Jones is an accomplished health care business executive and certified public accountant. He previously served as Chief Financial Officer and Division President of Coventry Health Care, and was Division President of United Health Group from 1999 until 2003. Immediately prior to joining Lumeris, he was an entrepreneur, investor, and health care business consultant.

Gail Halterman

Vice President and General Counsel

Gail Halterman is a seasoned legal professional with demonstrated expertise in health care regulatory and compliance issues. She joined Lumeris after a distinguished career in the health care group at Lathrop & Gage, LLP, a full-service national law firm. In her role as General Counsel, Ms. Halterman is responsible for legal strategy and operations, helping ensure the company's proactive adherence with the spirit and letter of all applicable laws and regulations.

Glenda Holmstrom

Vice President, Client Services

Glenda Holmstrom is an accomplished executive, with more than 20 years of experience in health care and technology. She spent more than a decade at Computer Sciences Corporation, a producer of software and computer services for the insurance industry, where she served as Executive Vice President for the company’s North American Property and Casualty Insurance Group. Prior to that, she served as Vice President of Marketing at Continuum. She has also worked as a business and management consultant, primarily focused on strategy and startup projects. In her current role as Vice President of Client Services at Lumeris, she is responsible for client services, sales support, and the Accountable Delivery System Institute.

Steve Melnick

Vice President, Corporate Development

Steve Melnick has a proven track record as a strategist and innovator in health care organizations. Before joining Lumeris, he led international product development for Express Scripts, one of the largest pharmacy benefit managers. His previous roles at Express Scripts include developing and implementing innovation management and developing strategic planning processes. He has also worked as a certified public accountant, consultant, and entrepreneur.

Lou Anne Gilmore

Vice President, Development

Lou Anne Gilmore is a technology executive and certified public accountant with extensive experience delivering software and services in the health care and financial services industries. Before joining Lumeris, Ms. Gilmore worked at Computer Sciences Corporation for 30 years. During her tenure there, she led a $4 billion division that delivers consulting services, software, and outsourcing services to large multinational corporations and government agencies.
